America/New_York
Online

Join Alice! Health Promotion for a Virtual Brown Bag webinar. Register here to attend!

Brought to you by the Nicotine Awareness and Help (NAH) Initiative, this virtual brown bag is an opportunity for the Columbia community to learn more about the history of the nicotine and tobacco industry, how specific groups have been targeted through advertising campaigns, and identifying how the “tobacco playbook” is still used today. Attendees will leave having a better understanding of these tactics and how to get involved in a campus policy change for the Morningside/Manhattanville campus to become a smoke/vape free campus, mirroring the policy at CUIMC and Barnard.

The first 25 students register for this training and attend the full session will also receive a free t-shirt sponsored by the Truth Initiative.
