The Science of Learning Research Initiative (SOLER) is pleased to present our next journal club event. This time, we will discuss an intriguing new paper that examines the potential uses of ChatGPT in generating assessment tasks that can be used across different disciplines in higher education. The session will be led by Connor Martini, a SOLER graduate assistant and 5th-year PhD candidate in Religion at the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. Connor also previously served as a Center for Teaching and Learning Lead Teaching Fellow.
Access the article, "A Cross-Disciplinary Examination of the Instructional Uses of ChatGPT in Higher Education" (Onal and Kulavuz-Onal, 2024) here.
