SOLER's next journal club event will take place on Thursday, March 26th from 2-3 pm on Zoom.
This time, we will discuss a recent study that analyzed nearly a decade of psychology undergraduates' reports to examine how generative AI has altered the stylistic, emotional, and ethical landscape of student scholarship.
The session will be led by Kiran Samuel, a PhD candidate in Sociology who has been collaborating with SOLER as a research assistant on AI-related projects since last year.
Access the article, "Style, sentiment, and quality of undergraduate writing in the AI era: A cross-sectional and longitudinal analysis of 4,820 authentic empirical reports" (Mak & Walasek, 2025), here.
Once registered, you will receive the Zoom link prior to the event.
