The Columbia Legal History Program is pleased to announce an upcoming panel discussion: Public Rights: The History of an Idea.
The panel will feature a discussion of new research by Rebecca J. Scott, Professor of History and Professor of Law, University of Michigan, who will present a project titled "Rights in the Plural: 'Public Rights' in Reconstruction Political Thought," and commentary by Jamal Greene, Dwight Professor of Law, Columbia Law School.

*Non-Columbia and non-Law School affiliates are welcome to attend, but if you are not a Columbia affiliate, you will have to fill out a form (which we will send you when you RSVP) and if you are not a Law School affiliate, we will have to include your name on a list we will provide to the guard at the entrance to Jerome Greene Hall so that you can enter the building.
