Our objective is to engage with community and faith leaders to share existing resources around prostate cancer to communities throughout NYC & Long Island through NYC and Long Island. This webinar will provide an overview of prostate cancer risk, prostate cancer screening, and screening resources. We will hear from a medical doctor for a discussion about prostate cancer risk and screening, a survivor of prostate cancer will share his story, researchers who work in healthcare shared decision making will talk about their work, information about a mobile prostate screening van will be shared, and a project to develop a prostate cancer educational tool will be described. Representatives from NYC & Long IslandCancer Centers will also share resources available at their sites, and a resource guide will be distributed to webinar participants.
