Lecture/Demo: This lecture covers the phenomenon of induction in the context of speakers, microphones, guitar pickups, magnetism, and electromagnetic listening. We will look at both traditional and experimental uses of these concepts, with live demonstrations of instruments made by the presenter using these concepts.

The event will be held in the Seminar Room of the Music & Arts Library, 701 Dodge. Ask at the desk for directions to the Seminar Room.
