Nadezhda Azhgikhina, a prominent journalist, will talk about the past and future of Russian journalism. What journalism can and should do to overcome the current condition? How can it fight against censorship and political repressions? Is there a way for subversion in today’s Russia? What lessons from the Perestroika-period journalism can be useful for today’s dismal situation in Russian media?
