In this workshop, there will be a basic overview of the Logic Pro X software interface. Logic Pro X is a powerful tool for digital music production and audio editing, and it has the ability to create fully realized music and audio works. Topics covered will include creating a new project, recording software instruments, recording live music performance, editing audio, basic mixing, and exporting your final track. No prior musical or audio editing experience required.
Bringing your laptop with Logic Pro X installed is recommended, but not required.
This workshop is taught by John Thomas Levee. He is an artist and composer, who is currently pursuing his MFA in Sound Art at Columbia University.
