This seminar will focus on new research in immunomodulatory antiumor therapies. Nicholas Arpaia, PhD, will discuss his lab's work engineering probiotic E. coli to release recombinantly produced therapeutics specifically within the tumor microenvironment. Catherine Spina, MD, will share recent preclinical data exploring and targeting mechanisms driving the induction of immunosuppressive myeloid cells in the TME by radiation and her group's efforts to bring this into the clinic.
