Dear SIPA students, faculty and staff,
As you may know, SIPA's Diversity Committee reorganized itself this fall based on recommendations from the DEI assessment conducted in spring 2021, and renamed itself the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Climate and Engagement (DEICE) Committee. We are now following up on other recommendations from the DEI assessment, and continue to sponsor events and other activities to foster a welcoming, respectful and representative community at SIPA.
We invite you to an open forum meeting of the DEICE Committee on Wednesday, December 15 at 1-2:30 pm in IAB 1512 and on Zoom. At the meeting, committee members will provide brief updates on our work so far, and our plans for the rest of 2021-22. Dean Janow, Vice Dean Wolfram Schlenker and Interim Dean Tom Christensen will join us to share updates and perspectives. There will also be time for Q&A.
