CopeColumbia welcomes you to “How Are You Sleeping?”: The State Of Our Sleep And Strategies For Improving Sleep Quality, an expert panel discussion on the science of sleep, how healthcare workers are sleeping, and what to do about it. 

Our expert panel will: 

  • Present CopeColumbia data of self-reported sleep over the last three years 
  • Discuss the science of sleep, and impact on health and well-being 
  • Review practical strategies for improving sleep quality, even when there does not seem to be enough hours in the day 

Panelists: 

Laurel Mayer, MD: Professor of Psychiatry at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center, co-Founder, CopeColumbia. 

Marie-Pierre St-Onge, PhD, CCSH, FAHA: Associate Professor of Nutritional Medicine; Director, Center of Excellence for Sleep & Circadian Research; Division of General Medicine, Department of Medicine.

Jared O’Garro-Moore, PhD: Assistant Professor of Medical Psychology (in Psychiatry) at the Columbia University Medical Center.  

Moderator:

Erin Engle, PsyD: Assistant Professor of Medical Psychology (in Psychiatry), faculty of CopeColumbia, co-Chair of the Well-Being Committee in Psychiatry, Clinical Director of Columbia University Psychiatry Specialty Services, providing therapeutic support for our healthcare workforce.
