Multilateralism and a New World Order

A conversation with

Alexander Stubb
President of the Republic of Finland

and

Anu Bradford
Henry L. Moses Professor of Law and International Organization

We are living in a time of profound change. The liberal world order that emerged after World War II is unraveling. Global norms are eroding. What comes next will define the rest of the century, so the search is on for a new global framework—a rebalancing of power.

In this conversation, President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb will discuss the shifting center of economic and political power, values-based realism, and how the current moment presents Finland with opportunities to build multilateral cooperation and influence as demonstrated by his global leadership.

President Stubb is the author of The Triangle of Power: Rebalancing the New World Order, published by Columbia Global Reports in January 2026.

Columbia University students are invited to participate in a moderated question-and-answer session.

This program is cosponsored by Columbia Global Reports.

Registration is now closed. You can tune in for the livestream on the World Leaders Forum website.
