Dr. Baim-Lance is trained in medical anthropology and has extensive experience conducting health services research with the aim of improving the quality of services, programs, and interventions for people with HIV/AIDS and other chronic conditions. Dr. Baim-Lance draws from the social sciences to take a systems approach, studying the organizational factors and processes shaping the delivery of healthcare alongside patient-level ones.
