Online Curriculum & Instruction

Composed of Instructional Design and Online Support, the Online Curriculum & Instruction team supports our programs and faculty in a variety of ways throughout the semester.

  • Instructional Design & Curriculum Support is tasked with the academic quality of the school, ensuring that we are always offering the best curriculum in innovative and effective ways. Through collaboration with faculty and programs, the Instructional Design team assists with the development and design of curriculum that includes: 

    • program and course objectives

    • instructional activities assessments, media assets

    • support for teaching and learning

  • Online Support & Academic Technology provides the technical expertise for course-related platforms. They support our faculty through: 

    • providing training at the beginning of each semester for Canvas, Zoom, and other technologies faculty may use

    • holding regular “First Wednesday” training opportunities that cover a variety of topics

    • attending each online course to support any technology requirements of the session

  • Faculty Assessment & Development fosters continuous improvement by providing SPS faculty with a wide range of professional development opportunities as well as assistance with developing assessment plans and practices.
