Events Management

The SPS Events Management team supports a wide range of in-person and virtual events, both domestic and international. These include non-academic program events as well as large-scale, complex, school-wide initiatives. All events are guided by strategic goals and are designed to strengthen SPS, foster community, and enhance our brand. The events we support are high-impact and require detailed planning and execution.

SPS Events Management is committed to delivering an excellent experience for you and your guests. To allow adequate time for venue booking, coordination with university procurement processes, and an appropriate runway for event promotion, please submit event requests according to the following timelines:

  • Off-campus* events: at least 12 weeks in advance (*16 weeks in advance for new venues)

  • On-campus events: at least 8 weeks in advance

  • Virtual events: at least 4 weeks in advance

  • Events that require complex planning (e.g., conferences, multi-day events), or those with fixed date or location requirements, must be requested 4-6 months in advance.

Event requests must be submitted through our Event Intake WEB FORM.  After submission, a SPS Events Management team member will contact you within two business days to discuss your event in more detail.

While we will make every effort to accommodate event requests received outside of the above timelines, our ability to do so may be limited by team capacity, venue availability, and procurement timelines.
