CU Learning and Development

In addition to those resources available specifically to SPS employees, Columbia University offers a number of courses and certificate programs for CU employees aimed at increasing your professional skill sets and qualifications. All courses and certifications are either free or payable by departmental ChartString. If you are interested in pursuing a course or certificate, speak to your manager.

• Professional Development Courses: These courses, some in person and some on Zoom, develop skills and engage employees professionally. The courses are offered in a number of areas, including:

• Certificate Programs: CU offers certifications in the form of multi-week workshops covering various professional topics. These courses are available to employees by application.
