Course and Program Change Policy

The Committee on Instruction (COI) in conjunction with Program Curriculum Committees (PCC) are charged with maintaining academic rigor and curricular quality for all graduate programs at the School of Professional Studies (SPS). PCCs are responsible for applying this academic policy, and others, to the program’s overall curriculum and individual courses, and for seeking COI approval for substantive changes to previously approved courses and academic programs. This policy establishes the conditions under which a course or program change must be formally reviewed and approved by a PCC, and then by the COI, prior to the change being implemented.
